The City has issued a survey to gather our community's input into the Mallow Park improvement project:

The DMRI has been involved in the creation of Mallow Park on the former Mallow Road Public School site at 15 Mallow Road. In 2015, the first community meeting was held about what residents wanted for a park. We listened and the DMRI appeared at North York Community Council to ensure that the pathway from Broadleaf Road to connect residents to the park was kept intact in the new development. This pathway has actually been updated with a concrete paved path and street lighting. At the same meeting, the DMRI fought to have the parkette at the east end of the development given over to the City to create an integrated park with a sole authority, which we achieved. Now, it is time to help finish the construction of the park! Take the survey below to have your thoughts heard. What are we missing?? Suggestions from 2015 included: 1) the community getting to rename the park 2) bike racks 3) a flower garden/flora 4) benches surrounding the park (not just by the playground) and 5) a garbage for doggie bags, amongst many others.
